Gambling Commission reports £484.6m raised by UK charity lotteries
The Gambling Commission said UK charity lotteries raised £484.6 million for good causes in 2024/25, up 4.8% on the previous year. Director of Policy Ian Angus presented the figures at the Lotteries Council Annual Conference on 21 May, alongside data on participation and gambling yield. He also discussed risks to players and the reputation of charitable organisations.
The figures quantify funds raised by charity lotteries and sit alongside the regulator’s focus on consumer and organisational risks.
