Regulation

The Xunta de Galicia opened public consultation on a draft general gambling regulation for the autonomous community, with comments due by 26 October. The proposed 348-article text would consolidate rules for land-based gambling, including casinos, bingo halls, betting shops, machines, advertising, access controls and inspections; it would allow affected businesses three months to adapt after the decree takes effect.

Operators in Galicia may need to adapt premises, machine permissions and access controls if the draft takes effect.
