French National Assembly approves proposed online betting loss cap for under-25s
France’s National Assembly approved an amendment to a professional sport bill introducing a maximum loss limit for online sports bettors aged 18 to 25. The government will set the cap by decree after consulting the ANJ; the measure still requires completion of the parliamentary process, including Senate approval.
Operators would need to adapt compliance systems once the government sets the cap and the measure completes its legislative process.
