Fort Mojave Tribe studies expansion of Avi casino resort in Nevada
The Fort Mojave Tribe has asked Avi Resort & Casino president Richard Cook to seek a feasibility study on building another casino or expanding the existing property in Nevada, according to reports. The study follows the tribe’s start of construction on Spirit Mountain Casino in Arizona; the planned venue is to have 350 slot machines and no hotel. Cook is also seeking a general manager to replace him.
A feasibility study could shape future casino and hotel capacity at the Avi property.
