DeSimone plans to take control of Bighorn and Longhorn casinos by July 1
Joe DeSimone told Nevada regulators he plans to take over operations of the Bighorn and Longhorn casinos by July 1. He appeared before the Nevada Gaming Control Board to seek licensing for both properties; the Nevada Gaming Commission was expected to consider a recommendation for approval in two weeks. The purchase agreement’s value was not disclosed.
The proposed takeover and pending licensing process could change ownership and operations at two Nevada casinos.
