Boomer’s opens Henderson sportsbook and plans further Nevada expansion
Boomer’s Sportsbook opened a location at The Pass Casino in Henderson on 2 April, according to a media report, and is preparing another sportsbook at Sierra Sid’s in Sparks. The Nevada Gaming Control Board recommended approval for the Sierra Sid’s location, while the Nevada Gaming Commission was expected to consider two new sites later in April. Joe Asher said the company aimed to have 18 sportsbooks open by football season and had signed agreements with two more casinos.
The planned openings and reported expansion target affect Nevada operators competing for licensed sports-betting customers.
