Flutter plans to withdraw Betfair products from Italy

Deals & M&A

Flutter said recent regulatory changes have made Betfair Exchange commercially unsustainable in Italy and that it will soon discontinue Betfair’s exchange, sportsbook and casino products there. The company has not specified a closure date or identified which rules prompted the decision; it said the exit would not affect its other Italian brands or local employees.
