Flutter launches Betfair Predicts beta in the UK

Deals & M&A

Flutter has launched an invited-customer beta of Betfair Predicts in the UK, using a modified version of the Betfair Exchange under Betfair’s existing licence. The product lets users take yes-or-no positions on events in sports, politics and entertainment. Betfair said the trial will help it assess customer feedback and demand before deciding how the product develops.

The trial tests a prediction-markets product within Betfair’s existing UK licence and may inform its future development.
