It was reported that Flutter shares fell nearly 4% as Bank of America warned prediction markets could divert sportsbook volume. Flutter said overlap had remained limited and cited product changes intended to support growth.
FanDuel reportedly plans to make Christian Genetski its permanent chief executive from 1 January 2027, ending his interim tenure. The reported appointment was communicated to Flutter staff, but neither Flutter nor FanDuel has confirmed it. Genetski became interim CEO in May 2026 after Amy Howe stepped down.
Christian Genetski is set to become FanDuel's permanent chief executive, after an interim stint of nearly six months. The job becomes his officially on 1 January 2027. As of the report, no confirmation of the appointment had come from Flutter or FanDuel.
It was reported that Peter Jackson will leave Flutter’s chief executive role and board on 30 September. Dan Taylor will replace him as chief executive.

The announcement coincided with first-quarter figures showing FanDuel revenue up 6%, while adjusted EBITDA fell 26% to $119 million year on year.
