Fanatics launched Fanatics Markets in 10 US states on 4 December, offering event contracts through Android and iOS apps. The company plans to expand to 24 states; its first phase covers sports, economics, finance and politics, with further contract categories planned for a later phase.

Novig said it has launched nationwide as a CFTC-registered designated contract market, completing its transition to a prediction market platform. The company said its event contracts are available to users aged 21 and over and that cumulative trading volume has exceeded $6 billion.
Crypto.com launched OG, a sports-focused prediction markets platform, initially in the United States. The company says the platform offers margin trading and sports event contracts, alongside contracts covering financial, political, cultural and entertainment events. Crypto.com appointed its chief legal officer, Nick Lundgren, as OG’s chief executive while he retains his existing role.
FanDuel and CME Group launched FanDuel Predicts in Alabama, Alaska, South Carolina, North Dakota and South Dakota on Monday as part of a phased US rollout. CME said the platform will add states in the coming weeks and into 2026; sports event contracts will be offered only where that form of wagering is not permitted.
BetMakers launched an advance deposit wagering platform for Monmouth Park, a New Jersey thoroughbred racetrack. The service initially covers 12 US states and uses Global Tote’s GTX platform; further state additions are expected in early 2026.
Coinbase agreed to end Michigan sports contract activity by 10 October. The agreement requires Coinbase to close outstanding positions while its appeal continues. The outlet also reported that Webull, Gemini and ProphetX exited Connecticut, while PrizePicks paused new sports prediction entries in Missouri but kept existing entries active.
Under a deal announced Wednesday, Coinbase will halt new sports event contracts in Michigan by Oct. 10, with every open position to be wound down by that date as well, the Michigan Gaming Control Board said in a press release. While the appeal proceeds, the company keeps its legal arguments intact, and Michigan pledged to hold off on enforcement so long as Coinbase stays within the restrictions.
