Reportedly, Allwyn has appointed Francesco Rodano as group head of responsible gaming. The former Playtech executive will oversee player protection across Allwyn’s European and North American markets.
Salta’s city council approved an ordinance prohibiting direct and indirect promotion of online betting on municipal property and communication channels. The measure excludes private billboards outside municipal assets, requires non-compliant advertising to be removed or changed within 24 business days or another period set for the medium, and provides for sanctions.
Salta's Chamber of Deputies gave preliminary approval to a bill prohibiting betting-company advertising on state-owned buildings and vehicles. The proposal exempts non-profit organisations and sports clubs and now goes to the Senate for review. Enreja president Aníbal Caro said online betting in Salta generated ARS 16,000 million in July, according to figures cited by legislator Laura Cartuccia.
Salta's Chamber of Deputies approved a bill to prohibit gambling advertising on provincial government property and vehicles. The proposal now requires Senate approval to become law. It also proposes withdrawing public funding, recovering payments and temporarily excluding beneficiaries who breach its conditions.
It was reported that EnReJA opposed a general ban on lawful online gambling advertising. Its responsible gambling official argued licensed-brand promotion helps users distinguish authorised sites from illegal platforms.
