Greece’s EEEP presented its 2025 annual report to Parliament, reporting gambling gross gaming revenue of €3.073bn, up 6.74% from 2024. Online gambling accounted for 38.8% of the market and grew 10.5%; the report will go to Parliament’s Committee on Institutions and Transparency for further review.

Italy’s Customs and Monopolies Agency is reportedly preparing to ask UEFA to prevent clubs playing in Italy from displaying shirt logos for betting brands unauthorised in the country. The report says the request would cover three European club competitions and that seizure of shirts during matches has not been ruled out if UEFA does not respond.

Greece’s HGC sets out how players can request temporary or indefinite exclusion from licensed gambling, including online gambling, OPAP PLAY video lottery terminals and casinos. A central exclusion register is still being developed, so players seeking a temporary exclusion across online operators must apply separately to each licensee; indefinite exclusions can also be requested through the HGC.
