Easol announced a $30m Series A extension on 28 October 2026, made up of $20m in equity and a $10m debt facility, the company said. The equity came from Y Combinator, Tiger Global, Foundation Capital, FMZ Ventures, Notion Capital and Eight Roads, and the debt facility from Viola Credit. Easol said it has raised $60m to date.

The company said the funding allowed it to develop and launch Teammates, its AI agent tool for experience businesses. Easol said Teammates agents run inside its platform behind the same single sign-on, audit logs, payments compliance and data residency controls customers already use, and that the company has never sold customer data.

Easol was launched in 2021 by Ben and Lisa Simpson, co-founders of Rise Festival, and has offices in London, New York and Los Angeles. The company said that so far in 2026 it has powered experiences booked by 2.8 million guests in more than 135 countries, and it named clients including Coachella, Stagecoach, Rapha, Swingers, Boots in the Park, Defected, State of Play Hospitality and Bingo Loco.

According to Ben Simpson, co-founder and chief executive of Easol, the platform was created so that experience businesses could own their technology rather than rent it. He said AI is now letting the company achieve considerably more. Simpson also argued that experience businesses which take up AI will gain an advantage he described as transformative.

Eve Szlendak, head of sales at State of Play Hospitality UK, said dashboards now give her the information she needs instantly, where she previously spent up to three days building reports.

Easol cited Live Nation's Return To Real survey, which it said drew on multiple surveys of tens of thousands of customers worldwide and found that 93% of fans prefer real experiences over digital ones and 80% would rather spend on experiences than on things. The company said the experience industries face tighter margins and rising costs.
