DGOJ consults UNAD on proposed Spanish gambling law reform

Regulation

Spain’s DGOJ met UNAD as it continued consultations on a future reform of the Gambling Law, reportedly on 19 October 2026. UNAD called for stronger protections for minors and vulnerable groups, legal restrictions on advertising and promotions, improved prevention and early detection, and action against illegal gambling, fraud and identity theft; the reform’s timing and final content remain uncertain.

UNAD’s proposals could shape future rules on marketing, player protection and illegal gambling.
