Denmark blocks Polymarket after court ruling on unlicensed gambling

Enforcement & compliance

Denmark has blocked Polymarket among 98 gambling websites after the Frederiksberg Court ruled that the sites offered gambling to Danish users without licences. The ruling was issued on 8 July, and Polymarket has appealed; internet providers are enforcing the restriction through DNS blocking.

DNS blocking restricts Polymarket’s access to Danish users while its appeal proceeds.
