Spain’s DGOJ considers prediction-market platforms to offer online gambling that requires a licence, according to a legal analysis. The regulator has reportedly opened sanction proceedings against Polymarket and Kalshi and ordered precautionary website blocks, alleging they operated in Spain without the required authorisation.
