Datafolha reports 35% of Brazilian bettors had compromised finances
A Datafolha survey conducted on 20 and 21 May 2026 found that 35% of people who had bet said they had made financial sacrifices to fund betting, down from 44% in November 2024. The survey also found that 7% of respondents currently bet, unchanged from 2024, and average monthly spending on online casinos fell from R$354 to R$232.
