CVC completed an investment in Gaming Laboratories International and related entities, the companies said. The investment was made through CVC’s Strategic Opportunities platform; financial terms were not disclosed. GLI chief executive James Maida said CVC would become the company’s first external investor.
The investment adds an external capital partner to a gaming testing and consultancy supplier.

Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) has appointed former gaming executive Gavin Isaacs to its board in an advisory role, the company said. His formal appointment remains subject to regulatory review and approval. Isaacs will work with GLI chief executive James Maida and investment firm CVC.
Reportedly, Gaming Laboratories International appointed Gavin Isaacs as an adviser to its board. Isaacs previously served as chief executive of Scientific Games and Entain.
Gavin Isaacs has joined GLI’s board in an advisory role, according to the headline. He stepped down as Entain chief executive last year after five months, the report said.
The Massachusetts Gaming Commission says its regulations cover the permitting, transport, operation, relocation, modification and destruction of slot machines and other electronic gaming devices. Under 205 CMR 144.00, each slot machine must be tested and approved by a commission-certified independent laboratory before use on a gaming floor; the commission identifies GLI and BMM Testlabs as certified labs.
EGT Digital announced an agreement to supply casino content to Esportes da Sorte in Brazil. The company said the portfolio includes more than 200 games, covering online slots and progressive jackpots for desktop and mobile devices.
