Police in Isola di Capo Rizzuto reported a betting authorisation holder to judicial authorities after finding the premises had been used as a restaurant without meeting licence conditions. Officers withdrew the licences, and the Questore of Crotone is expected to revoke them.

Chieri municipal police fined a betting venue’s owner about €5,000 after finding unauthorised billiards and gaming areas, as well as unlicensed food and drink service. The owner was ordered to stop the unauthorised activities immediately, the report said.
Italian State Police, the Customs and Monopolies Agency and the Guardia di Finanza identified a sports betting outlet operating without authorisation in Noto, Sicily. Authorities said its owner had previously been refused a police licence and was reported to prosecutors; the Guardia di Finanza is checking the workers’ status.

Afragola’s local police fined a shop owner €5,000 after finding sports betting facilities in premises registered only for stationery sales. Police said the setup breached Campania regional requirements, including restrictions on the location of new gambling venues.
Bergamo police found a betting venue operating without police authorisation in Clusone during checks in the Val Seriana area. Officers summoned the venue’s owner and said she would be referred to judicial authorities; a business in Cene was fined about €300 for failing to display required information.
