Connecticut DCP orders Kalshi, Robinhood and Crypto.com to stop sports contracts
Connecticut’s Department of Consumer Protection said the platforms must stop offering sports event contracts to state residents and comply with cease-and-desist letters. The department said non-compliance could lead to criminal sanctions under state gaming and consumer protection laws. Kalshi said it considers itself subject to exclusive federal jurisdiction.
The order requires the named platforms to halt sports event contracts in Connecticut or face possible criminal sanctions.
