Citizens JMP Securities compared prediction-market combos with sports betting parlays using anonymised Juice Reel user data, according to the report. It found average losses of 18% for prediction-market combos and 14% for parlays; users of both products had median returns of minus 9% on parlays and 23% on combos. Citizens said combos represented 22% of Kalshi’s April trading volume.

The findings offer operators and investors data on participant returns and the share of Kalshi activity from combo trades.
