Cirsa may reconsider Codere bid as Lottomatica deal reshapes control

Deals & M&A

Cirsa may reassess its potential bid for Codere following its agreement with Lottomatica, according to market sources cited in the report. Cirsa had submitted an indicative offer before the summer break, and could still make a binding offer for all or parts of Codere, subject to expected Lottomatica approval. The Cirsa-Lottomatica transaction is not expected to close until the second quarter of 2027, while Codere’s sale process may proceed in parallel.

Cirsa may still bid for Codere, but its decision and the sale process could be affected by the Lottomatica agreement.
