In brief

  • Lottomatica expects the €2.8bn Cirsa acquisition to complete in Q2 2027, Guglielmo Angelozzi said.
  • Revenue rose 5% year on year to €537m; adjusted EBITDA reached €200m, up 3%.

Lottomatica has confirmed a Q2 2027 closing date for the Cirsa deal. Chairman and chief executive Guglielmo Angelozzi said on the Q3 earnings call that completion is expected in Q2 2027. The Cirsa acquisition is described as a €2.8bn transaction.

Revenues rose 5% year-on-year to €537m in the first quarterly results since the Cirsa acquisition was announced. For the quarter, adjusted EBITDA came in at €200m, which is 3% higher.

Angelozzi said integration work streams with Cirsa colleagues were already under way.

The first nine months of 2026 produced €35.2bn in total handle, with yearly growth of 8%. Online bets accounted for €24.2bn, or 69% of the total bets, with a 12% uptick. Retail bets grew by 11%, but they represent only €3.1bn of the overall total, which is less than 10%. Total bets in the gaming machine segment of Lottomatica’s retail estate fell 2% year-on-year to €7.9bn.

The company also published figures showing what adjusted EBITDA would look like with ‘normalised’ payouts reflecting more typical sporting results. On that basis, the company stressed, adjusted EBITDA would sit toward the top of its full-year guidance.
