CICC and PAOCC expand cooperation against illegal online gambling in the Philippines
The Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC) and the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) announced a partnership to strengthen investigations into illegal online gambling in the Philippines. The CICC is expected to prepare case files, support cyber-forensics work and help block access to sites and content linked to organised groups. The report said the initiative follows the government’s ban on Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators.
