Angola’s ISJ expands municipal cooperation against illegal gambling

Enforcement & compliance

Angola’s Gaming Supervision Institute (ISJ) met municipal administrations in Zaire, Cabinda and Malanje during September and October to address illegal gambling, it said. The institute discussed slot machines, informal lotteries, restrictions on gambling access for under-18s and street sales of betting tickets; it plans to extend the initiative across the Northern Region.

The outreach sets out enforcement priorities and restrictions relevant to gambling operators and local administrations in Angola.
