Lotería del Chubut signed an agreement with Beturf to offer online horse-racing betting in Chubut from April, the lottery said. Users will be able to bet on races in Argentina and other countries through a service featuring live streaming and real-time information.

Buenos Aires province’s Institute of Lottery and Casinos authorised horse-racing agencies to register bettors for licensed online platforms, under Resolution 17-IPLYCMGGP-2026. The rules allow agencies to join one or more platforms without exclusivity and cap online betting space at 40% of each premises; the provincial games directorate will set uniform commissions.
Lotería Chaqueña said it signed a cooperation agreement with Chaco’s Security Ministry and Public Prosecutor’s Office to address illegal gambling in the province. The parties plan to coordinate prevention and investigations, speed up complaints and provide technical, logistical and financial support.

A court in Argentina upheld two claims by the Sindicato de Empleados de Comercio and ordered casino operator Trewelyn S.A. to pay March wages and 50% of offered severance, with adjustments and interest, to about 50 former staff of the Casino de Esquel. The venue closed on 25 March 2026. Accepting the 50% payment does not prevent workers from claiming the remainder through individual labour lawsuits, while the provincial lottery's new licensing process requires gradual rehiring of affected staff.
A court in Argentina has granted two applications brought by the Sindicato de Empleados de Comercio (SEC) on behalf of dismissed workers of the Casino de Esquel and ordered the operator, Trewelyn S.A., to pay outstanding March wages and 50% of the severance it had offered, with the corresponding adjustments and interest, according to the union's legal adviser.
