Regulation · SectorWire deskSource published 1 min read

Castilla-La Mancha's draft budget for 2027 forecasts 13,263 authorisation files for gaming machines, according to the regional government's budget report. The plan also sets out 1,739 files relating to premises and 400 for companies in the sector, with a further 60 files for gaming material.

For monitoring and regulatory compliance, the planning provides for 3,714 inspections, 52 sanction files and eight administrative appeals. It also includes one meeting of the Comisión de Juegos de Castilla-La Mancha and two meetings of the Observatorio de Juego Responsable.

The 2027 plan also covers prevention of risk-related gambling behaviour. It includes tools for teachers and counsellors to support early detection, awareness and prevention in education, and an institutional campaign on responsible gambling under the regional powers set out in Law 5/2021 of 22 July on the administrative and tax regime for gambling in Castilla-La Mancha.

The budget report states that the forecasts combine estimated tax revenue from the sector with administrative resources for its regulation, inspection and control, alongside prevention and participant-protection measures.
