Castilla-La Mancha maintains gambling venue moratorium and machine limits

Regulation

Castilla-La Mancha’s regional government has maintained a moratorium on new gambling venue licences since 2023 and limits on gaming machine authorisations in hospitality venues, according to the regional finance minister. A regional education programme has reached more than 3,000 pupils, he said.

The moratorium and venue rules affect licensing and machine authorisations for gambling businesses in Castilla-La Mancha.
