The Canary Islands government forecasts €69,002,033 in revenue from gambling taxes for 2027, compared with €64,674,787 budgeted for 2026, according to a press report. That represents an increase of 6.7%.
Gaming machines account for the largest share of the forecast at €36.35m, followed by bingo at €19.11m and the region's share of the online gambling tax at €8.71m.
The 2027 economic and financial report confirms that the Canary Islands used revenue accumulated to September to prepare its estimates, with one exception: for bingo it kept the initial 2026 budget as the reference.
On 6 November, the Intervención General released the budget execution data covering the period through September 2026, a publication that makes it possible to test the new revenue forecasts against recognised and collected income. According to the report, the exact collection amounts for each gambling category remain unverified, since they could not be reliably drawn from the report's tables.
