Cambodian authorities target licensed casinos in expanded anti-scam push

Enforcement & compliance

Senior Minister Chhay Sinarith said Cambodian authorities plan to strengthen management and inspections at licensed casinos suspected of links to online scams and gambling. He said officials had audited all 195 licensed casinos over the past year, with several suspended, and are investigating around 30 Prince Group subsidiaries and offshore assets.

Tighter casino oversight and suspensions could affect licensed operators, while investigations extend to corporate networks linked to alleged scams.
