Cambodia’s gambling commission cancels Golden Galaxy casino licence after raid
Cambodia’s Commercial Gambling Management Commission said it cancelled the Golden Galaxy Casino licence in Bavet, effective Wednesday, after finding that operator KBI (Cambodia) Plc was involved in online scams. Authorities arrested 244 people during the operation, and the commission said legal action had begun under the law on combating online scams.
The cancellation removes the casino from operation and signals enforcement against gambling venues linked to online scams.
