Cambodia commission revokes Zhong Huawei casino licence after fraud investigation

Cambodia’s Commercial Gambling Management Commission revoked the licence of Casino Zhong Huawei Golden Sand International Entertainment in Preah Sihanouk province after an investigation into online scams. The commission said a joint task force detained 104 foreign nationals and seized more than 1,500 mobile phones during an 8 April raid.

The revocation removes the casino’s authorisation to operate following the commission’s finding that it supported online scams.
