Buenos Aires City bars registered child-support debtors from online betting
The Buenos Aires City government said a new law bars people listed in its Public Register of Delinquent Child-Support Payers from opening or keeping active accounts, depositing, betting or withdrawing on LOTBA-administered online platforms. Operators must check the register automatically in real time before opening accounts and immediately suspend and report any active account held by a listed debtor. The government said breaches may lead to graduated sanctions.
