Regulation

Brazil’s Senate approved a revised organised-crime bill on 10 December by 64 votes to none, and the proposal returns to the Chamber of Deputies because senators changed it. The lower house will decide whether to accept the changes.

The proposed levy would increase the tax cost on bettor transfers if the lower house adopts it.
