Brazil's TCU investigates delay to Caixa Loterias betting platform launch

Brazil's Federal Court of Accounts opened an investigation into the delayed launch of Caixa Loterias' betting platform, with the ruling signed by minister Jhonatan de Jesus on 27 March. The audit court said the delay may raise concerns about economic efficiency after Caixa Loterias paid BRL30m for its federal licence; it ordered the operator to explain the delay within five working days and provide further details within 15 days.

The inquiry puts the state operator's launch schedule, licence use and compliance arrangements under public audit scrutiny.

EGT Digital debuts X-Nave platform in Spain with El Dorado online launch

EGT Digital will deploy its X-Nave platform in Spain for the first time under a partnership with Hermanos Rubio, owner of the El Dorado brand, supporting the launch of eldoradocasino.es with online casino and sports betting, the company announced. The package combines X-Nave, sportsbook, gaming aggregator and payment gateway with EGT Digital's own casino games.

EGT Digital will deploy its X-Nave platform in Spain under an agreement with Hermanos Rubio, the group that owns the El Dorado brand, the company announced. The partnership supports the launch of eldoradocasino.es, which will combine online casino and sports betting. The company said the deal is the first deployment of X-Nave in Spain and El Dorado's entry into online gambling.
