Brazil’s SPA suspends Pixbet licence over monitoring and documentation failures

Enforcement & compliance

Brazil’s Secretariat of Prizes and Betting (SPA) suspended Pixbet Soluções Tecnológicas’ licence on 13 August, citing missing monitoring measures for compulsive bettors and overdue mandatory documents. The three licensed sites may remain online only for withdrawals; unfinished bets must be cancelled and refunded. Pixbet reportedly has up to 10 days to appeal, while the suspension does not affect its Paraná and Rio de Janeiro state licences.

Pixbet’s federally licensed sites are limited to withdrawals, and unfinished bets must be cancelled and refunded.
