Brazil’s SPA sets regulatory priorities as legal betting sites report Q1 revenue

Regulation

Brazil’s Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Sport are advancing different parts of gambling policy, according to an opinion article. The SPA published a 2026–2027 regulatory agenda and consulted on authorisation requirements for industry providers; the report also says 197 legal sites generated R$3.3bn in federal revenue in Q1 2026.

Provider authorisation requirements could affect suppliers seeking to serve Brazil’s regulated betting market.
