MGA sets out risk-based regulation priorities ahead of London summit
The Malta Gaming Authority outlined its views on gambling regulation ahead of the London iGaming RegCom 2026 event on 29 and 30 June. The MGA said supervision should be proportionate to risk, make greater use of data and technology, and address emerging issues early; its representative Erika Formosa-Falzon is due to join a panel on anti-money laundering practices.
The MGA’s emphasis on risk, data, technology and early action signals its preferred regulatory and AML approaches.
