Boomer’s Sportsbook is pursuing a deal to take over sportsbook operations at Bonanza Casino in Reno, reportedly pending approval by the Nevada Gaming Commission. The Nevada Gaming Control Board recommended approval, with the commission scheduled to consider the proposal on 29 January 2026.
Approval would give Boomer’s its first Reno location and change the sportsbook operator at Bonanza Casino.

Bally’s Intralot reported adjusted net debt above €1.6bn in its H1 2026 results while pursuing its acquisition of evoke. Debt rose by around €135m compared with a year earlier.
Reportedly, Evoke, the parent company of William Hill, remains in broadly the same financial position as a year earlier as it awaits acquisition by Bally's Intralot. The Athens-listed buyer paid £243.3m for the LSE-listed company, with the deal due to complete in Q4 2026 or Q1 2027.
It was reported that Evoke generated £887.5m in the first half of 2026, leaving revenue broadly unchanged. Italian revenue increased 21%, while higher gambling taxes weighed on the group.

Terrible’s reopened Primm Valley Casino in Primm, Nevada, 17 days after taking over management, according to reports. The property has more than 400 gaming machines and 250 hotel rooms, alongside a sportsbook, sports bar and restaurant. The company said it plans further investment, including new dining options.
