Betway named Nigerian music executive Don Jazzy as its brand ambassador in Nigeria, the company said. Super Group chief executive Neal Menashe said the partnership is intended to strengthen the brand’s connection with local audiences; Don Jazzy said he would represent Betway in the country.
The agreement gives Betway a named local ambassador for its Nigerian market activity.

Blueprint Gaming has partnered with Supergroup brands Betway and Jackpotcity to offer its slot games in South Africa, according to the company statement. The initial selection includes Megaways and Cash Strike titles, alongside branded releases; further games are expected as the rollout progresses.

New Zealand’s Department of Internal Affairs said 11 companies advanced through an auction for online casino licensing rights ahead of a planned 2027 market launch. Successful bidders must still complete applications and due diligence, while operators that did not qualify must cease operations by 1 December 2026.
Alberta's iGaming Corp added Betway Canada to the province's operating-platform list on 28 September, bringing its sportsbook and online casino to the regulated market. The announcement also listed Apollo Entertainment's Golden Tiger Casino; more than 30 platforms were active in the market, according to the report.
Reportedly, Betway began accepting bets in Alberta's licensed online gambling market during the week of 29 September. Other Super Group brands also joined the market.
