Betty acquires Kirkland Lake Bingo Hall to support Ontario online bingo
Betty Canada acquired Kirkland Lake Bingo Hall in Northern Ontario to support its planned entry into regulated online bingo, the company said. The transaction closed late last year; the hall will keep its name and current employees, and an undisclosed share of Betty’s Ontario iGaming revenue will go to licensed local charities.
The acquisition links Betty’s planned online bingo expansion with charitable gaming and local charity funding in Ontario.
