Betsson Score App adds live coverage of 16 football and basketball competitions

The Betsson Score App has been rebuilt to provide live coverage of 16 football and basketball competitions, according to a BNLData report. The report states that the app is not Betsson Brasil's official application and is dedicated exclusively to supplying data and statistics.

The report says the app's internal processing structure was rebuilt from scratch to reduce transmission latency, with the aim of closing the delay between an on-field decision and its appearance on a mobile screen. It adds that the engineering team optimised the source code for lighter memory use, faster navigation between tabs and lower mobile data consumption through cloud compression of information.

For basketball, the report says the app covers the NBA and Novo Basquete Brasil (NBB), with point-by-point scoring by quarter, timeout alerts and individual player statistics including points, offensive and defensive rebounds, assists, steals, blocks and shooting percentages on two-point, three-point and free-throw attempts.

The report describes further features: a customisable main screen for favouriting the day's fixtures, push notifications for goals, match start and end, quarter ends, red cards and score changes, and educational glossaries on betting and casino terms. It also mentions a daily news feed and a weekly picks feature called Os 5 Picks Semanais do Profe.
