BetMGM and Connor McDavid have renewed their partnership, the operator announced. Under the renewed agreement, the National Hockey League player will continue to appear in BetMGM's responsible gambling campaigns on broadcast, digital and social media channels.

McDavid's tie-up with BetMGM began in 2022, when he came aboard as a brand ambassador. According to the company, its "Mullet Over" campaign, which debuted in December 2025, has contributed to a 27% year-over-year increase in the number of accounts that have deposit limits set.

Adam Greenblatt, the BetMGM chief executive, credited the campaign with prompting real shifts in behaviour, as a growing number of players adopt tools like deposit limits to remain within their comfort levels. He added that the company is glad to keep working with one of hockey's most respected figures. Richard Taylor, BetMGM's director of responsible gambling, said player protection and quality entertainment go hand in hand, and that teaming up with McDavid has made responsible gambling more relevant to sports fans.

McDavid said discipline and sound decision-making matter in both hockey and sports betting, and that BetMGM gives players tools to help them keep control of their gambling activity. According to BetMGM, responsible gambling will remain a key focus as the company continues its expansion.
