Pragmatic Play said it has entered Alberta’s regulated online gambling market after its slot and live casino portfolios received certification. The supplier said its offering includes blackjack, baccarat, roulette and game shows, as well as slot titles including Fury of Anubis and Big Bass Blast.
Certification allows Pragmatic Play to offer its games to operators in Alberta’s regulated market.

The feed reports that Alberta’s regulated iGaming market has more than 50 licensed sites after an unregulated-market deadline passed. It describes 13 October as a milestone for the new market.
Alberta is relying on a larger regulated online gambling market to attract players from unlicensed sites, provincial minister Dale Nally said. The province launched its multi-operator market on 13 July 2026; around 70% of activity had previously taken place offshore, and 31 operators had joined within six weeks. Nally said player safety conditions include system-wide self-exclusion.
Endorphina said it has secured approval to offer its games in Alberta’s regulated iGaming market. The company said the approval followed legal, regulatory and technical requirements and allows it to bring a portfolio of more than 200 games to the province.
Super Group may wait until October to introduce Betway in regulated Alberta. Chief executive Neal Menashe said the company was taking time to transition from grey-market activity despite its existing AGLC registration.
It was reported that Entain’s Sports Interaction and Party Casino began regulated Alberta operations on 23 July. Their arrival brought the number of live licensed sites to 24, compared with 22 at the market opening.
