Belgium transfers gambling oversight to FPS Economy

Regulation

Belgium’s Gaming Commission became part of FPS Economy on 1 June 2026, following government and parliamentary approval of the transfer from FPS Justice. The commission said the move supports its regulatory role and thanked FPS Justice for their 25 years of cooperation. The transfer was first announced as a draft law in October 2025.
