Acre transfers lottery-funds oversight to its Sports Secretariat
Acre has transferred oversight of funds generated by the State of Acre Lottery from its State Secretariat of Public Finance to the Extraordinary Secretariat of Sports. The change followed approval by the state Legislative Assembly; the Sports Secretariat will monitor the budget, while the state must still launch a public consultation or accreditation process to select a private service manager.
The transfer changes which state department oversees lottery funds and leaves the service manager selection process outstanding.
