Austria prepares draft gambling reform ahead of 2027 licence expiries
Austria is expected to introduce a draft gambling reform bill in the coming weeks, reportedly focusing on online gambling as existing licences are due to expire in 2027. The proposal could introduce competitive licensing, while discussions continue over licence numbers and measures including a self-exclusion database, website blocking and payment blocking.
