In brief

  • Aries launched prediction markets in Aries Mobile for eligible US customers through Aries Futures LLC.
  • Contracts cover the 2026 US midterm elections, economic data and financial markets, listed and cleared by ForecastEx.
  • Aries plans to add event contract access to Aries Infinite, finance.dev and the Aries MCP server.
  • Aries said event contracts carry substantial risk and are not protected by SIPC or insured by the FDIC.

Aries announced on 30 October 2026 that prediction markets are now live in its Aries Mobile app, with eligible US customers able to reach event contracts via Aries Futures LLC. Listing and clearing of those contracts is handled by ForecastEx LLC, which is an Interactive Brokers affiliate.

The contracts cover the 2026 U.S. midterm elections, economic data and financial markets. On the exchange, buyers and sellers determine what each contract costs, and every contract poses a yes-or-no question about a real-world outcome. Aries notes that these prices should not be read as forecasts and might diverge from how likely an outcome actually is.

Interactive Brokers, the firm founded by Thomas Peterffy, launched ForecastEx, which holds CFTC designation as a contract market and clearing organization. Other brokers can also use the exchange. Aries connects to it via Aries Futures LLC, a CFTC-registered introducing broker and NFA member whose accounts are carried by Advantage Futures LLC.

Trading in Aries Mobile requires eligible US customers to open a separate event contract account with Aries Futures LLC. Such accounts are kept apart from the securities accounts that RAM Financial LLC offers. Sports, awards and other entertainment contracts are not part of the Aries offering.

Reda Falih, founder and chief executive of Aries, said: "We wanted our first prediction markets on regulated rails, with real price discovery behind every contract." He added: "Polls tell you what people say. Markets show you what people will put money behind."

The company intends to bring prediction markets into Aries Infinite, described as its open trading canvas, so that eligible customers can see event contract prices next to charts, news and positions. Access is also slated to reach finance.dev and the Aries MCP server, which would let eligible customers obtain supported market data and send authorized orders via connected tools.

On iOS and Android, Aries Mobile combines US stocks, ETFs, options and now event contracts, and the same app carries real-time market data, Bloomberg TV and TradingView charts. In Aries Infinite, an open trading canvas, traders place modular widgets for charts, order entry, market depth and news, execute trades through supported tools and share layouts. Finance.dev gives API access to supported market data and trading functions, offering SDKs in Python, JavaScript and Go plus an Aries MCP server.

Aries cautioned that event contracts carry substantial risk and suit only some investors, and that the entire amount paid plus applicable fees can be lost. An offset before settlement may be blocked by limited liquidity, while settlement follows contract terms, designated resolution sources and deadlines. SIPC protection and FDIC insurance do not cover event contracts, and eligibility and trading restrictions apply.

RAM Financial LLC and Aries Futures LLC sit under Aries Financial, Inc., their holding company. RAM Financial LLC, which does business as "Aries", is an SEC-registered broker-dealer and a FINRA and SIPC member, and Apex Clearing Corporation, also a FINRA and SIPC member, carries its securities accounts. The disclosures state that Aries has no affiliation with Interactive Brokers or ForecastEx and that neither endorses it.

GLPI executives maintain support for Bally’s Chicago casino project

Gaming & Leisure Properties executives said the slowdown in construction at Bally’s Chicago casino had not changed GLPI’s outlook on the project during its third-quarter earnings call. They said the $1.7bn resort was roughly two-thirds complete and that its hotel and casino were expected to be weather-tight by December. GLPI said project delays could affect Bally’s repayment timing and financial position, while its own credit risk had not changed.
