Andy Sanborn pleads guilty to stealing more than $255,000 in relief funds
Former New Hampshire state senator and Concord Casino owner Andy Sanborn pleaded guilty in federal court on 8 July to stealing government funds, admitting he used more than $255,000 in COVID-19 relief money for personal expenses. Prosecutors agreed not to pursue criminal charges against his wife or Concord Casino; his federal sentencing is scheduled for 15 October 2026.
The plea deal leaves Concord Casino and Laurie Sanborn outside federal criminal charges while the casino remains closed.
