Global wagers on the 2026 FIFA World Cup could exceed $50bn, according to Macquarie analyst Chad Beynon, compared with more than $35bn at the 2022 tournament. Deutsche Bank estimates US betting handle could reach about $3.3bn, including approximately $1.3bn for FanDuel and $1.1bn for DraftKings. Macquarie forecasts the event could lift operator EBITDA by 2% to 5% in 2027.
